Some days I wake up with the bring it all Lord attitude. On these days, I feel so equipped and ready to face whatever comes at me.
On some other days, I just want to hide under the duvet and wake up in heaven.
I’m learning that both days are a blessing. They teach you gratitude and dependency on God.
The one thing that stays consistent though are the challenges life comes with, and no surprises here. Jesus told us to expect hard times.
Hard times have their uses. We are built in the hard places so I’ve come to appreciate the hard seasons in recent time.
Many people want the victory without the battle and it just doesn’t work that way.
David, Joseph, Daniel, Shadrach and his friends, the disciples of Jesus, Paul, even Jesus the Christ hit rock bottom. Only one thing is consistent with these men: they were built to last through the hard seasons.
They came through stronger and they finished well.
I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be half baked. Half baked items usually get tossed with the garbage.
I want to last so my prayers have changed in recent time. They’ve gone from, ‘Lord, just get me out of this and I’ll be truly thankful’ to Whatever it takes Lord, build me to last.’
The truth is every child of God would experience victory hour but would you rather be a Saul or a David?
