I LOVE YOU!

Hi dear. I know you feel sad and depressed. Things didn’t work out for you the way you thought it would or the way you planned.

I know you are frustrated at the way your life is turning out. In five years, you were gonna get that incredible job. At 25, you were gonna get married to the love of your life. And now, you’re 27 and you’re still struggling to get an ordinary job.

I know you didn’t plan to settle. You were going to wait for the best. Since you were little you had such great dreams but somewhere along the line, you compromised and now you feel less of  yourself.

I know how much you long for someone’s approval. You don’t feel good enough. You don’t think you’re beautiful. And you’re enduring his verbal and physical abuse because you’re hungry for love and affection.

I know you thought by now you’d have made the millions you envisioned as a little boy but it hasn’t worked out and you’re disappointed in you.

I just want you to know that I am here. I understand. I can relate with your needs, your disappointments and failures. I am Jesus and I walked the earth just as you do.

I love you. You are enough. I have incredible plans for you. And no matter how messed up your life is right now, I can fix it.

Don’t worry. Stop sighing. I love you. You are enough!

You matter! You are important and I love you!

  2. Yes – somewhere deep down every heart is some form of disappointment in ourselves. We are not where we had hoped and envisaged… but knowing He has got our backs daily gives us strength. Nice piece Jules… in a way I can describe this article resonates within me.
